Woood Sculptures By Rob

Freedom Lost

Many of Rob's wood sculptures have a story behind them. This particular one was not only a challenge to create but explains a vision that came to him from God. This has never happened to him before. He accepted this vision as a gift from God himself. As he began to put all things together, Rob was quite saddened by the story behind it. This sculpture was not only the most intense he has ever done, but it was showing the sin and problems that this world is experiencing and will continue to experience, if nothing is done. The most important part of this sculpture are the verses that are mentioned from the Bible. These verses were given to us so we can spread the word to as many people as possible that Jesus is lord and was put on this earth to spread the Gospel and to die for our sins. With this being said, the sculpture not only shows us sadness, but it also to give us hope. The stake and chain which is attached to the Bald Eagle's leg, is to remind us of our God given right for our Freedom which is being lost due to the sins that man continues to commit. The judge's mallet is to represent our legal system that continues to go against us, and to change our Constitution. As you can see, all the headline stories scattered around the cliff base are true, and to this day, continue to grow and will never stop. Rob hopes and prays that this sculpture will help people understand what is happening around them, and hopefuly together, we can make this a better world for future generations.
